KUER

KUER public radio is a charter member of National Public Radio, and broadcasts from the Eccles Broadcast Center at the University of Utah. The station has been a non-profit organization since 1999. It provides commercial-free mixes of NPR, BBC, local news, and jazz music programming to thousands of Utah citizens. KUER has two additional broadcast stations in high-definition. KUER2 offers a mix of indie and legacy rock music, while KUER3 features traditional and contemporary classical music. It also provides several community outreach services, which include Make-A-Wish Utah, free legal advice to low-income families, divorce education for children classes, one-act play writing competitions for teens, Tracy Aviary spring break camps, family art presentations at local museums, and live music presentations. It welcomes vehicle donations including cars, RVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and jet skis.
