Cancer Support Community

The Cancer Support Community was formed in July 2009, as the result of a merger between The Wellness Community and Gilda’s Club Worldwide. The CSC provides services that are essential, but often overlooked, to people who have been diagnosed with cancer. It makes available programs that were designed to optimize patient care.

Barrett Foundation

The Barrett Foundation was established in 1985 by Brother Mathias Barrett, and moved to its current location in 2005. It is an emergency shelter that supports over 300 homeless women and children each year. The organization continues to improve its programs and network within the community in order to help women and children break the cycle of homelessness.

New Mexico Family Network

New Mexico Family Network supports and empowers families with children who have experienced neurobiological, emotional, and behavioral challenges. It serves families who have children with behavioral differences by providing advocacy, education, information, training, support groups, referrals, and self-help tools. NMFN aims to raise public awareness of individuals with neurobiological differences through many channels including news media, website, conferences and newsletters.

Martineztown House of Neighborly Service

The Martineztown House began in the late 1920s as a neighborhood program of the Second Presbyterian Church. MHNS is a broad-based community service organization. It provides bilingual education and support to vulnerable children and families. MHNS offers Capoeira, or Brazilian Martial Art, classes, yoga and kickboxing, as well as Aztec dancing.
